As described, your iPad battery has reached the end of its usable life - and likely requires battery service/replacement.
As a first step, you might be well advised to directly contact Apple Support - and request a remote battery diagnostic. If the battery test indicates that replacement is required, you’ll be able to explore your potential options.
You can contact Apple Support using the Contact Support link at top-right of this page, or open a support case using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/apple-support/id1130498044
Alternatively, you might seek assistance from the technicians at Genius Bar of your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider.

Others?
You would be wise to limit your choice of who to entrust your battery replacement to either Apple - or an Apple Authorised Repair Agent.
Be aware that if you choose an “independent”, should something go wrong, Apple and Apple support will refuse any support or assistance.
Probably that battery has reached the critical point of its life.
