Transferring cd collection from iTunes in Windows 10 to iTunes Match

I have recently bought a new iMac and would like to transfer my large cd collection (which is currently stored in iTunes on my old Windows 10 pc) to iTunes Match so I can play my music across all my Apple devices. Two questions:

  1. Will I able to store my entire cd collection (which is 40gb) in iTunes Match, ie is there a storage limit?
  2. In iTunes Match will it be possible to organise tunes from my cd collection into playlists like I used to when using iTunes on my Windows pc?

Thanks.

  1. iTunes Match is limited to 100,000 songs. Your iTunes store purchases are not part of the limit. Some songs might be ineligible, too large, too small, low bitrate, duplicates, etc.
  2. Yes, your existing playlists will be migrated into your iCloud Music library as long as they don't contain ineligible content. Smart playlists that depend on other playlists are ineligible.
