how to update MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012)

I am unable to update this. I have had someone to update, and keep current. This is the model etc....

Your model build year MacBook Pro could run Catalina 10.15.7.

Some users with older software may require 32-bit support for

apps and drivers; still offered by Mojave 10.14.6.
