Photo access from Time Machine if saved under different users
I have recently purchased a Macbook Air and preparing to send my old Imac back to Apple. I use TIme Machine (on an external drive) for backups.
With regard to Photo, I can access the photos from the Time Machine backup that are under my user login. However, I can not access the photos from my wife's login on the new Macbook.
My question(s)....
- How do I access her photos from the library on my new computer. Does she need to create a login to be able to see them?
- If this is not possible, do I need to access her account from our IMac to change permissions OR
- Do i need to access her photos and copy them separately to my external drive?
