iPhone verification code not being sent via text when using various apps.

This is more of an answer than a question. My iPhone's cell service is with T-Mobile. After contacting Apple Support they could not help me. I have several apps that send me verification codes that I never receive, or at least used to. I had to contact T-Mobile support and they had to turn on receive "Short Codes" from their end. Once the tech did that I tested in on the latest App that was causing me this grief which was my Vons app. I did not have to exit the app which was already running and I did not have to reboot my phone. It is was all a setting on my account that only T-Mobile could address.
