Flickering pixels on Thunderbolt Display with M1 MacBook Pro

Hi!

I have very annoying and weird problem.

When I connect my M1 MacBook Pro to Apple Thunderbolt Display 27 through TB2 to TB3 official Apple adapter I see pixelated area at the top of screen. And color of this pixels equal to bottom area of screen: if I move white window at the bottom of the screen this flickering pixels also turned to white.

I think it's not problem with display because with my old MacMini it works fine. But it was connected directly to TB2 port, without adapter.

I tried:

  • Connect display to MacMini 12 without adapter - works fine. Not a display problem
  • Connect display through adapter to my friend's M1 Macbook Pro. Same issue. Not only my MacBook problem
  • Connect display through adapter to my friend's Intel MacBook Pro under Catalina. Works fine. Not a adapter problem

So, I think it's M1 chip or Big Sur OS issue.

And I've found no one same issue with flickering pixels in the whole internet.

Can anybody help me? Is there software or hardware problem?

What should I do next?

I also tried:

  • Boot in Safe mode
  • Create another user and logged in under it
  • Boot in recovery mode
  • Change resolution and color profile
