My iPhone 12 Pro will not wirelessly charge.

Why won’t my iPhone 12 Pro charge wirelessly? I have restarted and tried a hard restart, then it will charge for a little while, but then will not charge wirelessly again.

Hey there, Smdwriter!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! If we understand correctly, you're running into an issue with your iPhone 12 Pro intermittently charging when you attempt to charge wirelessly. Is that correct? If so, we have some steps we believe may help you.

First, make sure that you can charge with the USB adapter and cable that came with your device. If that works, remove any cases/covers you have on your iPhone 12 Pro to see if this helps to correct the problem. Don't place anything between your iPhone and the charger. Objects between your iPhone and the charger might cause a reduction in performance.

Also, you mentioned that the iPhone charges intermittently. Does the iPhone stop charging after you received an incoming notification? If so, you may want to consider disabling vibration settings or enabling Do Not Disturb on the iPhone. The phone vibrating can cause the charging mat to stop providing power to your iPhone as it may shift positions.

We hope this information helps you out.

Take care!
