Which password do I need for phone restore?

I have enteres my apple ID password and restore wont allow me because the password is wrong. What other password is there?

Restore from Backup I just got a new iPhone 12. I usually plug in my new iPhone to my laptop & restore from backup & use it. But this time, when I entered the requested password, it says password incorrect. The password is for the Apple ID, right? I was able to sign in to iTunes (so my password is correct!). I re-entered the same password again but it still doesn't work. I don't understand what's wrong.

Restoring my Iphone 12 when i restored my iphone on itunes i wanted to earse eve rything. but it still was requesting my sign in info and password. why was my phone still asking for a password when i completly restored it?

Probably your passcode to unlock your device.

If you are the owner or the owner has shared all information with you then to open Activation Lock:- If it is Activation locked, read here --> Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Learn how to remove a device from a previous owner's account.

If you are not the owner and do not have the Apple ID and Password then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their apple ID.

You do not need any other password other than your Apple ID and Password that you have signed into the device.

Thank you for the help, it does not accept my Apple ID password. I have tried the phone passcode also.
