How to disable autoplay in the MLB app

How can I disable annoying autoplay videos in the otherwise fine MLB app?

iPhone SE, iOS 12

Open your MLB app for iOS and click on the three dots ••• found in the lower RH corner of the page



Then select “Account” in the upper RH corner of the new page. Selecting that link takes you to “Account Settings”. On that page scroll down to the bottom where you’ll see section “AUDIO/VIDEO”. There you’ll select “Autoplay Video” and that brings up this page.

On this page change to “Never Autoplay Videos”. Back out and close the app. Done.

Actually, I set up both the Q&A with the solution to my own question because after extensive research, trial and error I got to the answer and thought it might help others to know the 'step by step walk through' to disable the video autoplay in the MLB app. It gets annoying and I simply had to find the 'OFF' button to the videos. I hope this Q&A helps someone have an easier time of doing just that.
