I can’t hear other person’s voice

I recently switched to iPhone and bought iPhone 12 max pro but from last couple of weeks I’m getting this problem like when someone called me I can’t hear them and when I call them I can hear. I tried to update my phone and reboot but after two days same thing started again.

To make sure we're on the same page, when someone calls you on your iPhone, you're unable to hear them, but if you call them, you can?

If that is the case, can you clarify the following?

Is this one specific contact or any contact?
Does your iPhone have Wi-Fi calling enabled? This feature is dependent on your carrier, but you can check under Settings > Cellular > Wi-Fi Calling. Make a call with Wi-Fi Calling - Apple Support
Do you only notice this behavior at a specific location, such as at home? Or only at work, etc? Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference - Apple Support

Also check if you have any updates for carrier settings: Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
