transferring music app to ipod classic

I have an old ipod classic and I want to transfer my apple music from the app to my old ipod.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.2

See Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support to add music to your device. Note you cannot add Apple Music subscription content or anything that is in the cloud.

The iPod classic doesn't have the ability to check that your Apple Music subscription remains active. Apple Music DRM protected content must be streamed or downloaded directly to a computer or capable device.
