I went to the Apple store and purchased a new phone and they told me to transfer the information once I got home so I transfer the information and my text messages and apps are not showing up what do I do to get them back?

Hi there,
It is recommended that you back up your device before transferring to a new device. If you already have a backup then setting up your new device from a backup should include your apps and messages if they have been selected. My guess is that your messages and apps haven’t been backed up before hand. If you still have the old device you should still be able to do this.

Which method did you use to transfer the data from your old iPhone to your new iPhone? Do you use iCloud for Messages and Photos etc. on your old iPhone?
