I bought these earpods at the apple store on May 29, 2020 last year. i used it from that day until yesterday had no problems. But this morning I woke up and wanted to listen to a song on youtube suddenly my left earpods were not working. Should I claim a warranty on apple?

You have 14 days to return them. So, if they are not operating as intended, then return them. Elsewise, it would come down to the warranty. It's your call.
