My new apple 6 watch stopped displaying the time with wrist movement. How do I get that feature back?

You might have turned theater mode on.

Swipe up on your watch face to open the control panel.

If the 2 faced icon is on tap it off

I figured it out; from a blank screen, swipe up, a basic settings screen appears. Then turn off the theater mode indicated by the theater's happy and sad face masks. Mine watch was in theater mode.

It is great that a communication portal for apple products like this exists.
