How do you make messages full screen?

The iPad Messages App window, if not being used in Split or Slide-over screen modes, is already “full screen”. Individual message conversations cannot be resized.

What you see is what you get.

looks like something we could give feedback on and suggest. The most expansive screen I have used was in landscape. But I am interested in not seeing other messages while sending a detailed message.
