I am purchasing a smart keyboard on line on the Apple web site. In the compatibility explanation it is not clear which is the indicated for my iPad (iPad Pro 9.7 inches). How can I tell which one must I order? Thank you for your support

These are the only Apple Keyboards compatible with your iPad Pro 1st generation 9.7":--> https://www.apple.com/shop/ipad/accessories/keyboards?page=1&f=ipadpro_9_7&fh=35d5%2B470f

None of the Apple ones I see in the web store will fit a first generation 9.7” iPad Pro. The only ones I see for that are the wireless Magic keyboards (the ones for use with a Mac or any BT device - with or without numeric keypad) and the Logitech Keys-to-Go ultra slim keyboard. When I searched by device compatibility “iPad Pro 9.7” those three are the only keyboards that show up.

The smart and magic keyboards for iPads only fit 10.1” or larger iPad pros.
