Apple Watch not connecting to phone

I am having a problem with my watch and phone not connecting. This has been going on since I upgraded my phone at the end of October. I can usually fix it by restarting my watch, but I shouldn't have to do that every single day. I have also done a complete reset of my watch, wiped and re-paired with my phone, and my husband did something with the wifi settings that he said should have helped it but there has been no change. My phone and watch are rarely more than ten feet apart. I have a Series 1 watch and iPhone 12. Thank you!

I am having the same problem with the activity info not syncing to the phone. It started in February with the limited edition awards I got on the watch but never on the phone. Then, we had a new iOs update and now no activity is syncing to Health or Fitness. I have sone everything in the article. Curious how many others are having the same issues.
