I have really valuable photos stored on my old iPod Nano 3rd generation but can’t find a way to transfer them to pc. I can’t view them on pc only see the folder and it gives me options like internet explorer and word to open them but not anything else. Photos app on pc- doesn’t detect the iPod. Please help me I am despairing!

Yes. I have learned that the photos are ITHUMB format. The originals don’t exist. The hope was to get them onto my dad’s windows laptop and then save them and get some printed.
Did you find a way to do this?
No. I am not computer literate so I am stuck
