Hi I’ve just recieved my new iPhone11 from affordable mobiles and was unable to turn the camera sound off, after reading up and seeing the letter J in the model no I believe they’ve sent me a phone set up for Japan where you can’t turn the annoying camera sound off, before I request an exchange of return is there anything I can do or get Apple to turn it off?

No way to mute the shutter sound on devices made for sale in some markets (Japan, for example).

I doubt it. If the phone was designed to be used in Japan, as you stated, then you will need to get the proper phone to use in the UK.
Cheers guys I’m going to call the company tomorrow as I have 14 days to return but will try an exchange first as I don’t want an iPhone I can’t turn the shutter sound off!
