Shut off the house Wi-Fi. With a power-outage-tolerant Wi-Fi router—most low-to-moderate Wi-Fi devices are—a mechanical timer switch would work well, and those are cheap and widely available.

Or run two Wi-Fi networks, one for guests and wee bairns, and one for you. Many Wi-Fi devices have guest network support, too.

Or get a mid-grade Wi-Fi router that can better manage and throttle guest users.

Screen Manager and Parental Controls are an option too, but I’m generally skeptical around that—save as a mechanism for the kids to manage parents’ computers, that is.
