I cannot get my Apple Watch to update

I have an older Apple Watch and it won't give me the option to update software

Apple watch 1 and 2 will only update to WatchOS6.

1st generation watch will only update to WatchOS4.

Apple watch 1 and 2 will only update to WatchOS6.
