I went through various articles and an old post on the community page here regarding this. Nothing seems to work. All i want to do is basically set a live photo/gif as a watch face and have it run like a looped video everytime i use my watch

in the bottom-right corner of a photo, then touch and hold the photo.

To view a photo that you've chosen to use as a watch face and have it animate is to follow the steps above. Apple does invite feedback and feature requests via their product feedback portal: Product Feedback
