Adding multiple podcasts to play next

Hi

I tend to listen to podcasts like Mike Duncan's - The History of Rome which has 100s of episodes and must be listened to in sequence. These podcast series may have finished years ago or may be 100s in and continuing. The point being we are NOT talking about new episodes.

I want to add 20-30 episodes at a time to play next or even the whole series, but then drop in an entirely unrelated podcast to give me a bit of variety. In short "how do I add multiple podcasts to play next without having to do it one episode at a time. I don't mind doing this on the phone or via iTunes.

Can anyone point me to a URL explaining how to do this or just tell me. Many thanks.

Hi there,

Tap on See All Episodes

Tap and hold momentarily (long press )on the episode you'd like to queue (Haptic Touch or 3D Touch depending on your device ) from the pop up select either Play Next or Play Last.

> You can also access these options if you tap on Details

> Then tap on the three dots (more ) menu on the right

> To see the Playing Next list/queue just tap on the episode that is currently playing

flick down a bit and below Description you will see the Playing Next queue.

> You can rearrange the EP's by holding the 3 parallel lines to the right of the EP and then hold and drag to the desired position in the queue.

(PS: I used the podcast you mentioned as an example, you can add any EP from any podcast that you like in the queue and see it in Playing Next)

You've told me how to add them one by one.

I've done this already for the entirety of the example History of Rome Podcast (and a few others) and can vouch that it is a tedious and inevitably, error prone approach.

eg. Find the episode (involves scrolling). Click the plus symbol. Click the details. Click add to play last. Scroll down one podcast and repeat again and again and again.

There must (or should) be a better way. I want to select a bunch and add them as a group. Similar to as I would do for a music playlist.

I appreciate your effort in collecting the screenshots, but it didn't answer the question I posed
