We understand that you are needing to restore some messages from a device that you no longer have. We're happy to help assist you with the available options.
If you had previously enabled the Messages in iCloud feature, as described at Use Messages in iCloud then when you sign in to a new device the conversations stored in iCloud will be restored.
Alternatively, if that feature was not enabled, it will be necessary to restore from a backup that contains those conversations. See Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup for those methods. A backup would not contain message history if that service was set to sync via iCloud.
