11" ipad pro smart keyboard folio has wrinkles everywhere. its looks like 80 years old but it is actually 1 year old. Apple care refuses the change because wrinkles are cosmetic issue. ironically im buying this case for its cosmetics. Lol. Consider before buying. totally disgrace 4/10.

Totally agree. If you buy a high-end product, you expect high-end quality.
It would be like buying a Mercedes and after a year the paint started wrinkling. You wouldn’t expect them to say that you’re out of luck because the car still runs perfectly.
Cosmetic means it doesn't affect the devices use.
I have the same issue. I went to Apple Store where I bought it and they told me it was cosmetic and not covered by warranty. They also told me that they would contact me if there would be product recall due to product material issue and at the moment there was no product recall for smart keyboards.
It is very annoying as I take really good care of my electronics the smart keyboard/case wrinkles look really bad!
I have the same issue too, iPad Pro 12.9 version, and the genius at the Apple store said this was not covered. For the amount of money this thing costs this is unacceptable, so next time around I’ll probably buy a Logitech, Brydge, or other brand.
While I truly, genuinely hate to be one of those who has to write 'I have that issue too' (so annoying to scroll through), I do have that issue too. I bought a replacement and have the identical issue. I've tried different leather type repair lotions but nothing is helping. It's incredibly irresponsible for Apple to ignore this clear product defect. I've not been able to find a replacement that isn't either heavy or too large.
