My Iphone is using small amounts of data while I am on wi-fi

Since the pandemic hit, I work solely from home in a wi-fi environment. I have checked my cellular bill and noticed that there are small amounts of data being used even though I have not left the house. Can someone help to understand if this is normal or if I have a security issue.
