Dark mode won’t turn off
At about 10:30 am today my iPhone XSMax changed to dark mode snd all attempts to change it back have failed. Please help

Just to double check, ensure that Dark Mode has been turned OFF
Open Settings ➔ Display & Brightness ➔ Light : Set Automatic to OFF.
Another thing to double check, ensure that Smart/Classic Invert is set to OFF.
Open Settings ➔ Accessibility ➔ Smart Invert : Classic Invert : Set both of these to OFF.
If none fo the above works then Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:
- Press and quickly release Volume UP button
- Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
- Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
