iPhone 11 scratches trade in value

I am looking to trade in my iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’d like to get full trade in value. My current issue is in three of the corners there are decent sized scratches that are only noticeable when the screen is off or if you really look on the screen for it. Based on my understanding apple will not swap the screens for cosmetic issues which I can certainly understand but I also want to get as much trade in value as I can.

any insight on what I might expect or how I can go about getting the screen replaced?

Are you planning on trading it in directly towards the purchase of a new iPhone? Are you taking it to an Apple Store? If yes to both they can give you a good estimate. You are going to get less value because of the scratches. Unless you have AppleCare + doing a screen replacement is going to cost your more than what you will get for the trade-in.
