transfer from my iPhoneX to my iPhone 12, it has been about 22 hours

Hi, I have been trying to transfer from my iPhoneX to my iPhone 12, it has been about 22 hours now and the new phone screen says Enter iPhone Passcode (etc) which I have done, the little circular thinking thing in the top right corner is spinning but its been almost 24 hours and its unchanged, should I turn it off and start again?, could I expect a different result if I do?

To start again with QuickStart you would need to Turn off then reset the iphone 12 to Factory settings with Settings, General, Reset, Erase all content and settings and start again from the Hello Screen.

Restart the device. The apps can take many hours to download.
