Your phone is very old, you are already on the latest IOS that will run on it, and this (as you have found) has little app support. If you need to use it for much more than phone/text, then you will need to get a newer phone.

Not sure what you mean by without application. An iPhone 4s is very old and cannot be updated past iOS 9. You can still make calls and use the built in apps but now most apps require iOS 13 or higher. Recycle it or keep as a relic of the past.
