Rosetta 2 download for Mac air with M1 chip

I'm trying to use application that require Rosetta Stone 2. When I open the app it pops up with an option to download, but then it says there are no rosetta updates available and asks for me to check my internet connection. My Internet is fine and it still won't work. How do I install rosetta?

• If you need to install Rosetta2 on your Mac - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211861

Rosetta 2 enables a Mac with Apple silicon to use apps built for a

Mac with an Intel processor. "If you have a Mac with Apple silicon,

you might be asked to 'install Rosetta' in order to open an app. Click

Install, then enter your user name & password to allow installation

to proceed."

So it would seem the Mac would assist with installation on-demand

if you try & run applications originally intended for Intel-based Mac.

You may need to try & see if using Safe mode first to ready your M1

Mac, & install Rosetta2 while started in safe mode. Then restart after.

There has been no known issues with getting this tool or installation.

Perhaps if you'd share the name of the application sought, that

may be helpful to know ~ as other users may have useful clues.

"..you should contact the app developer to inquire about a version

that can natively.." ~ (run) in a new M1 Silicon SoC configuration.

Does the lack of wi-fi only affect getting this one app?

Or has a wireless diagnostic been performed to see if

other things are affecting a general wireless failure?

Checked for wireless settings, recommendations, etc?

So far, I've been wary of major hardware upgrades; as issues

result from early adoption of various systems &/or software.

Sorry to not have an actual answer to various circumstance

which appear to be caused by an unknown failure to get or

use a application, that may/may not work with Rosetta2.

Presumably the actual item sought, was to run in Intel-Mac.

While that software maker, should have one for M1 underway.
