Important Camera Message

If you see this message when you go to Settings > General > About, the camera in your iPhone cannot be verified. This message applies to iPhone 12, iPhone12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini. This notification doesn't affect your ability to use your iPhone or access your camera.

What does this message mean and why did it just suddenly pop up on my phone..this phone was bought brand new and has never been serviced..do I need to take it in?
