Logic 10.5.1 Fade help

I don't normally edit much in logic, but I just noticed that I can no longer create fades and crossfades like I used to.

For a fade, I could hover the mouse at the top end of a region and the mouse would change into a fade tool symbol.

Crossfades, I believe were at the bottom of an intersection of two regions.

Now I only get the option of either looping or extending regions. I have to actually change my primary or secondary tool to the fade tool in order to create them.

Is this something Apple changed or did I mess with a setting somewhere that I didn't realize?

Hi

Might be:

Logic Pro > Preferences > General> Editing TAB

Enable Pointer Tool in Tracks (Fade Tool click zone)
