after supposedly redowloading purchased songs i'm still getting 'cannot open, this content is not authorized'?

why can i not open/play these songs i've purchased?

Usually (if only happens for a few songs) that is a sign that the music file got corrupted somehow. Try deleting the song off your device and the redownload it.
