Phone calls mute alarm in morning

Whenever my alarm goes off, if someone calls at any point during the alarm, the alarm is silenced and it doesn't turn back on. As I put my phone on vibrate so that I don't wake up to phone calls (I get a lot of spam calls), the alarm goes off at first, and as soon as someone calls me, the phone just vibrates, and then it goes silent when the call is not answered, even though the alarm still shows on the lock screen. The alarm is never reactivated and stays silent.

So, of course, if somebody calls me right after the alarm starts sounding, the alarm is shut off and never comes back on, even if I set more than one alarm.

Is there any way to make sure the alarm keeps sounding after a phone call?

I literally missed a midterm exam today because of this. Ridiculous.

Hello alarmnotworking,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that if your alarm goes off and you receive an incoming call at the same time or shortly afterwards the alarm is silenced and doesn't snooze. A couple of options would be to use Do Not Disturb and set it for the hours you are sleeping along with blocking unknown callers as described in this article:
