My iPhone has 1 esim and 1 physical sim. 2 number show in FaceTime but only physical sim can active FaceTime, when I select esim number it show a window “An error occured during activation. Try again” and freeze I have to exit settings in multitasking.

First, check to know whether you have an SMS plan enabled at least for One SMS with your carrier. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) the agency who issued the SIM to you
If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS. (One SMS Only)

I did step by step when I turn on iMessage and FaceTime again it shows the window “An error occured during activation. Try again”. My esim has roaming, I sent a text message to myself it’s ok.
