Despite having done a factory reset, when I reinstall apps they come back with old settings - how do I do a reset deleting all?

Thanks, I chose not to restore but instead set up as new. Tried once with same Apple-ID as before.
As this didn't work, second time I created a new Apple-ID (again chose to set up as new, no restore).
If you’re restoring from an iCloud back up, this would happened. Secondly, this might happen even if you didn’t restore from iCloud, because most apps store their data on their own servers.
for example you had app named; blah. And you had setup the app with name, address, so on. If you log back on, all your settings would be as it was.

Thanks, unfortunately that didn`t resolve either - after downloading and reinstalling the app, it still inherits the old settings....
