Activation Lock

I have just had Activation Lock turned off by Apple on my iPhone 6,after supplying all relevant documents,

They have messaged and said Restore your device as new through recovery mode to prevent Activation Lock from being reapplied.

It goes on to say Restoring a device as new will remove all data from the device.

I have all my family photos in cloud,I don't want to delete.

How can I restore my phone and save my data?

Many Thanks

Daryl

If you had made a backup, please see Restore or set up your device from an iCloud backup - Apple Support

Otherwise, when you sign into Settings>iCloud or Apple ID (deoending on your system version) synced data will reappear (give it time).

Hi Roger,

Just to give up an update,I contacted apple support as i wasn't sure about restoring my phone, the guy told me there is nothing I could do as the phone had to be restored like a new device,I said it is giving me options to where I can restore from he said choose restore from icloud, I did and consequently have lost all my photos and other data,he didn't appear very confident to me while he was taking my details. Is it the end of the road for me getting back data? thanks for your help.

regards

Daryl
