Hey there, bonniefromedenprairie!

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! If we understand correctly, you are running into an issue with viewing recently upgraded iCloud Storage on your Mac. We can understand wanting to find out why. We'll do all we can to help get you pointed in the right direction.

First, make sure that both the Mac and iPhone are using the same Apple ID. On the iPhone, you can go to Settings > [your name], and verify what email/Apple ID is showing under your name. On the Mac, you can open System Preferences > [your name] or Apple ID (depending on macOS version in use), and verify the email/Apple ID showing under your name here.

If they are both the same, you may want to power off and restart the Mac. Also, check out this link with information on how to Manage iCloud storage on Mac. We hope this info helps you out.

All the best.
