Family Sharing back ups

I have a MacBook Pro. My child has an iPad that has family sharing on it. How do I backup my child's iPad using a MacBook Pro. The iCloud account on the iPad is listed with my child's iCloud account.

This setting is "ghosted" and will not let me depress the button.
