How can I see my iCloud pictures on my Photos app on MacBook

How can I see my iCloud pictures on my Photos app on MacBook Pro? I uploaded most of my pictures archive on iCloud from other devices but when I explore my photos on the photo app at my Mac I cannot see those on iCloud.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.2

If you turn on iCloud Photos on the Mac, they should automatically sync to it. See: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
