Hi there, amalie115!

We understand that you're being prompted for a password when running Wireless Diagnostics. We can help.

The user name and password for using Wireless Diagnostics are those of the Administrator account on your MacBook when it was first set up.

If you don't remember it, then you can follow the steps in Change or reset the password of an OS X user account to reset it.

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
