Lost apple watch

I misplaced my phone at a hotel that it shows on GPS being at that location but housekeeping says they couldn't find it. I unpaired the watch instead of doing an activation lock. Will someone that finds it be able to turn it on and access my information if found? I have changed my password.

Very sorry to hear that! You could erase the watch to make sure nothing is compromised:

  1. On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Go to Find My iPhone.
  3. Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.
  4. Click Erase Apple Watch. Select Next until the device is erased.
  5. Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
