Lost and found

I found someone’s Apple Watch at the gym, I reset it to factory settings to protect the info they potentially had stored on it as it had a passcode as well I didn’t want to take any chances as I’ve tried to find the owner. I’ve tried to make sure it stays on and charged so they can locate it with the Find My phone app, idk what else I should do I’ve gotten nowhere In returning it
