I have an iPhone 11, my partner just bought himself the same phone. He doesn’t receive my messages. I have iMessage on but he doesn’t. When I switched of my iMessage he was able to get my messages but then by doing this it effected a group message I have with my mum and sister. Is there something that I’ve set wrong on my phone or my partner has. I receive his messages but can only reply to him through messenger . My mum and my son have this same problem

Both of you need to turn off iMessage, then turn it on again, to ensure the iMessage is registered to the right number.
Both to have SMS and MMS on in case you want to message non Apple users.
Your phones must be set up with different AppleIDs
