Can I connect the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro to another device via Bluetooth say like a Mac mini?

The Magic keyboard has no Bluetooth capabilities; the keyboard makes a direct electrical connection via the Apple Smart connector on the back of the iPad to corresponding pins on the keyboard.
