How to turn off child account two factor authentication?

How do you turn off two factor authentication in a child account? I did not knowingly turn it on for the child account I just created and it is a pain. How can this be eliminated?

Newly created Apple ID accounts come with 2 Factor Authentication enabled. You can't turn it off.
