Dimming wallpaper

The original picture is much more vibrant. But then when I set it to wallpaper it becomes dull. Dark wallpaper is turned off and I’m running iOS 14.4.1 on iPhone 11 Pro Max. It seems to do it by default to make the apps more vibrant, but I’d much rather keep the original picture looking the same. Is there any way to stop this from happening?

Hi IamSTN,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. If you would like to Adjust the brightness on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, check out the steps here to see if that helps adjust it to your liking. You can also turn on True Tone, which uses advanced sensors to adjust the color and intensity of your display to match the ambient light, so that images appear more natural. If you want to Use Night Shift on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, check out this link.

Have a great day.
