Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand you're having issues connecting to your printer, and I'm here to help you solve the issue.

From what you've said, you're running on Big Sur 11.1. Apple has since released 11.2.3, which I believe solved many printing problems for Big Sur. But, there is a workaround without updating your Mac. It's really easy and straight-forward, so it's really hard to get lost. Here's what you need to do:

1. Try running the drivers installer again. When it warns you, press 'OK' (or whatever the dismiss button is to quit the installation process).
2. Go into System Preferences and click 'Security and Privacy' (the home icon with the padlock, just below Notifications).
3. In the tab bar, select General and look at the bottom of the page. This will show you what apps/installers were blocked from being opened.
4. Click 'Open Anyway'. on your recently closed installer. Your Mac will warn you that you're overriding system security by allowing unidentified developers' apps and system files to run without macOS protection, but in your case you have to override system security in order to print. I personally wouldn't be too bothered by the 'Unidentified Developer' bit, as you can generally trust printing companies.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.
6. After you've done Step 4, you're done! Happy printing.

Kodak, as part of their bankruptcy restructuring, left the consumer inkjet printer market in 2012/2013 timeframe. Your ESP v1.2 printer dates back to that timeframe, and there are no possible means that Kodak would have suddenly created Big Sur compatible printer drivers after Nov 2020. Nor did anyone else.

You have installed 32-bit printer drivers that are completely useless on Big Sur, and it is time to seriously consider a newer, compatible printer, or hang it off of a Windows box.
