Hi vedharashambika,

Welcome to the Apple Community where some of us do our best to help each other.


Your payment method may have been declined for many reasons:

  • You may not have used an acceptable payment method
  • You may have exceeded your credit, or the daily limit on your account.
  • Your transaction may have "timed out"
  • could be many other reasons


It may be a good idea to Log-In at AppleID, and check what payment methods you have listed there.

See if the payment method you are trying to use has an expired date?
